Thank God It's Friday!!
..
HOW MANY TIMES HAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE
SCARED YOU WITH THOSE WORDS:

Cholesterol

Did you know...

Every sex hormone in the human body including testosterone, progesterone and estrogen are made from cholesterol.

Every cell in the human body is made up of cholesterol.

Did you also know...

Only about 20% of the cholesterol in your bloodstream comes from the food you eat. Your body makes the rest.

Cholesterol has a bad reputation, thanks to its well-known role in promoting heart disease. Excess cholesterol in the bloodstream is a key contributor to artery-clogging plaque, which can accumulate and set the stage for a heart attack. However, the role of cholesterol in your body is not all negative.

To fully explain cholesterol, you need to realize that it's also vital to your health and well-being. Although we measure cholesterol production in the blood, it's found in every cell in the body. The Harvard Special Health Report Managing Your Cholesterol explains cholesterol as a waxy, whitish-yellow fat and a crucial building block in cell membranes.

Cholesterol also is needed to make vitamin D, hormones (including testosterone and estrogen), and fat-dissolving bile acids.

In fact, cholesterol production is so important that your liver and intestines make about 80% of the cholesterol you need to stay healthy.

AGAIN...just in case you missed it

Without cholesterol the body can not synthesize vitamin D, or absorb the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K properly.

Therefore, without adequate levels of dietary cholesterol, your hormones will be out of balance - and your health, weight, strength and performance will suffer.

Dietary cholesterol is not correlated with unfavorable blood cholesterol values and contrary to popular belief, it is NOT a cause of heart disease, or any other disease for that matter. If it was, humans would have died out long ago seeing as we were a highly carnivorous species throughout evolution.

The body can synthesize (make it’s own) cholesterol, however, due to the fact that it makes up every cell in the body and it is required to build all the sex hormones, it is vital that we get in enough dietary cholesterol daily to support optimal function, health and results.

Foods high in dietary cholesterol are also extremely nutrient dense, full of vitamins, minerals, essential fats and proteins.

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU HEARD SOMEONE TELL YOU TO STOP EATING EGGS BECAUSE IT CAUSES HIGH CHOLESTEROL????

Before you lose your minds....calm down

I don't want to use this information to scare you or stress you..I want you to use it to become well informed.

Nothing is ever concrete just because...you need to look at all of it

Everything you eat, all of your behaviors, exercise or lack of lack of exercise..

I'm honestly getting tired of people trying to blame one thing or trying to find a villain ...
